Refund Policy
Paid BriefBasket purchases are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Refunds, subscription cancellations, statutory withdrawal rights, and payment disputes for purchases made through Paddle are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. BriefBasket is operated by ITworks.
Refund requests
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, transactions are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Paddle may consider a discretionary refund request submitted within 14 days of a transaction. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Paddle determines eligibility under its policy and applicable consumer-protection law.
You can request a refund using the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle confirmation email, through the support link in your billing page, or through Paddle Buyer Support.
Subscription cancellations
You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period and prevents future renewal charges. Cancelling does not automatically refund a payment that has already been processed.
Technical problems
If a persistent technical problem prevents you from using material BriefBasket features as described, contact support@briefbasket.com so we can attempt to resolve it. If the problem cannot be resolved, you may submit a refund request to Paddle with details of the issue and our response.
Access after a refund
If a refund is issued, access to the refunded paid plan may end. Your account may return to the free-plan limits, and you should export or download any important material before access changes where possible.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights. We do not impose additional refund exclusions or eligibility requirements beyond Paddle's applicable policies and the law. If this page conflicts with a mandatory legal right or Paddle's policy for the transaction, the higher applicable protection will govern.
